The 6th Annual MAD Academy GALA
March 17th, 2018 5:30pm at Santa Barbara Historical Museum
136 East De La Guerra, Santa Barbara, CA 93101
Last year’s Gala Was a Huge, Sold-Out Success!
With the help and early support from our friends, family and sponsors last year we raised $150,000 for 35 new professional Apple workstations. Our goal for 2018 is to raise $250,000 to fund the purchase of new DSLR cameras, audio recording equipment, stage lighting, and studio equipment.
This will allow the MAD teachers to continue to provide hands-on, state-of-the-art training and instruction to our students.

MAD Academy Mission
The MAD Academy at Santa Barbara High School was founded in 1996 to provide an integrated, engaging and relevant education that would prepare students for the world they will enter as adults.
For 20 years the MAD Academy has been educating students through an innovative curriculum combining leadership and emotional intelligence training, relevant workplace skills, rigorous academics and meaningful community service.
Students love being a part of the MAD community and gain confidence from developing competence in areas that prepare them for the real world.
