Last year’s Gala Was a Huge, Sold-Out Success !

With the help and early support from our friends, family and sponsors last year we raised $120,000 for new equipment for our state-of-the-art studios. Our goal for 2017 is to raise $175,000 to fund the purchase of 36 new computers to replace our current classroom of aging machines.

This will allow the MAD teachers to continue to provide hands-on, state-of-the-art training and instruction to our students.

SPONSORSHIP – A Great Way to Buy Tickets!!!

A key element of the MAD Academy’s success is the incredible support of our parents, businesses and the community. Sponsorships are a great way to purchase tickets and receive additional benefits while supporting MAD.

MAD Academy Mission

The MAD Academy at Santa Barbara High School was founded in 1996 to provide an integrated, engaging and relevant education that would prepare students for the world they will enter as adults.

For 20 years the MAD Academy has been educating students through an innovative curriculum combining leadership and emotional intelligence training, relevant workplace skills, rigorous academics and meaningful community service.

Students love being a part of the MAD community and gain confidence from developing competence in areas that prepare them for the real world.
