MAD is an amazing high school experience in Santa Barbara where students can find their tribe, tell their story, and thrive academically.
The MAD Academy is a four year "school within a school" at Santa Barbara High School. Students take an integrated curriculum comprised of pre-AP, Honors & AP level academic requirements & college classes in Graphic Design, Film, Photography, Social Media, & Web Design.
The MAD Academy is a strong and genuine community that focuses on educating the whole student.
Students participate in both grade specific and community service trips to build tighter bonds with each other, learn leadership skills and support organizations that are making a meaningful and positive impact on our world.
MAD students become proficient digital storytellers - a skill
that will serve them well in today’s marketplace.
Leveraging world class equipment and production facilities, and under the guidance of industry professionals, our student
auteurs design and produce amazing work that reflects their unique style and voice.
